Market Basket Workshop
Join us on Sunday June 4th at 2:00pm for another amazing basket weaving class! When settlers arrived in East TN in the 1700s, they brought basketry traditions with them. Basket-making skills were valuable to settlers as they used them to transport everything from food to tools to linens and more. Many baskets were also works of art created out of necessity. Join instructor, Sheri Burns, to create your own work of art - our utilitarian Picnic Basket. Measuring approximately 12” x 18” x 8”.
The Picnic Basket class is limited to 10 participants. Cost is $60 for Friends of Ramsey House members and $65 for non-members.
