Join us at Historic Ramsey House for our exciting new “Beginner Blacksmithing” class! Delve into the ancient craft of blacksmithing and create your own unique handmade forged pieces.

In this introductory course, limited to just 4 participants per class, you'll receive personalized attention as you learn the basic skills of blacksmithing. From crafting hooks to keychains and bottle openers, you'll walk away with tangible items that you've forged yourself.

Our small, intimate class setting ensures that you'll have ample opportunity for hands-on learning. The class runs from 8am to 4pm, with a break for lunch at 12pm. Please remember to bring your own lunch, although water will be provided.

Classes are scheduled for May 25th, July 6th, and September 7th. The cost is $120 per person, or $110 for members of Historic Ramsey House. Each class will teach the same set of skills, so keep an eye out in the future as we add classes that will build upon what you learn here!
